Worship Songs

Start your own song library

  1. Make sure the Titles tab is selected
  2. Open the File menu and select 'New Library'
  3. Now add songs to your library
  4. Use the toolbar 'Save' button to name your library and save it.

Add songs to your library

You can either

Import songs from SongSelect

This requires an internet connection and a SongSelect account. Ensure that the Internet is enabled on the Preferences / Advanced tab.

  1. Click the SongSelect icon in the toolbar
  2. Log in to your account
  3. Find the song you need and go to the Lyrics page
  4. Click the Import icon in the Songview toolbar
  5. If the import does not work click the Copy icon on the SongSelect page before clcking the Import button.
  6. When you have finished adding songs, click Exit SongSelect in the toolbar
  7. Save your library.

Add songs with the editor

  1. Click the Edit button in the toolbar
  2. Add the song title and credits in the Title and Credits fields; a title is mandatory
  3. Type in or paste the song text
  4. Slide breaks between verses can be added with Ctrl+Enter or by using the Slide toolbar button
  5. If you have pasted in the whole song with more than one verse slide breaks can be added by positioning the cursor where you need the break and using the Slide button
  6. Use the Song toolbar button to add new songs
  7. When you have finished adding songs, click Disp in the toolbar to close the editor
  8. Save your library.

Edit a song during a presentation

You can make changes and corrections to slides during live presentations

  1. Right click on the preview of the slide
  2. Select Edit Slide
  3. Make the required changes
  4. Click the exit button at the top right of the edit window
  5. The slide will automatically update even if it is being displayed live
  6. Save the changed library
  1. Type a word or phrase from the song words or title in the Search bar
  2. A drop down list of song titles will appear with the search text
  3. Run your mouse down the list to see the full text of each song
  4. When you have found the song you need, right click the mouse to add it to the Playlist
  5. Left clicking the mouse will display the song immediately.

Change the song background and appearance

If the song has been added to the Playlist, right click the Playlist item and choose Background Media. Select the background type and settings. The changes will only affect this Playlist item.

When not in Show mode, you can also use a custom theme for the song by right clicking on a song preview window and choose a new theme from the theme menu. This theme will apply to the song until it is changed.
