Hello, thank you for the program you have designed. We are a new church start and cant afford to purchase a expensive program.
I am working with windows 10, I have set my computer for extended monitor, I got the program to work at home while I was setting things up but when I got to church to run the program no matter what I did I could only see the desktop on the screen even through I saw the program on my laptop. I could not get it to show the slide on the screen. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong? |

Hi I think the problem lies somewhere in your setup. When you are connected to the projector make sure that the computer screen shows the main desktop window with the Songview application. The screen should not show the Songview interface but you should be able to move the mouse pointer from the computer screen to the projector screen. If you cannot do this the display setup on the computer will need changing. Look in windows display settings - I think Windows 10 has a special menu item for this but looking in advanced display settings should be OK.
If that works OK Songview should be OK but check in Songview Preferences/Display to make sure the dual display option is checked. Any more problems feel free to ask. |
