Mike Dickinson | Help with Alerts and backgrounds |
---|
This is such an excellent little program I just had to write and thank you for all the hard work that has clearly gone into its creation. What a cracker! Though many of the songs words are way out from their original lyrics. But I have no problem using the edit facility. I have a couple of queries. I take it the 'Alert' facility in the program is for creating scrolling messages such as ads for house group meetings, get togethers etc. But I can't find how to set this up. Secondly, is it possible to import one's own images to be used as back grounds? |

Alerts can be set up using the Alerts tab on the Preferences dialog. Individual alerts are added using the Alert button on the toolbar.
Images (jpg or bmp) can be added to the backgrounds directory either directly, from the file menu or from the right click menu on a background picture. |

I can't seem to add backgrounds inside. I've added a backgrounds subfolder, put bmps and jpgs inside, and yet Songview doesn't display the backgrounds. Any solutions? |

Backgrounds must be added to the dedicated backgrounds directory, see earlier post. |
