| I'm trying to import Powerpoint files into songview but when I complete the import I get more 'slides' than the original file. These consist of four slides per old one, header, title, verse and footer.
How do i import so that i only have slides as the original powerpoint had?

| The success of the import depends much on the format of the slides as although powerpoint has a well defined file structure the number of options for preparing the slides are huge.
The importer works by importing one text area per slide with one song per ppt file. There are options on the import dialog to specify where titles etc are that should allow you to ignore headers and footers.
You can import more than one song at a time by selecting multiple files in the file list box.
