Hi... I am very blessed by your software. When I used first your software the video background option was available and after editing some songs the software said there is no enough space and it switched back to its simpler version which has no video background for songs. what may be the problem? the graphics card or computer ram? what is the minimum graphics needed to use the video backgrounds? Please help... thank you. God bless you

Songview has two modes of operation. In the normal mode the slides video output for the whole song is written to video RAM and then switched to the output screen as a slide is selected. If there is insufficient video RAM available it switches to writing each slide individually to the screen as a slide is selected. As you have discovered, video backgrounds and also fades won't work in this mode. To switch back to the normal mode and re-enable video backgrounds go to the Preferences dialog and on the General tab select 'Use WYSWYG mode' 32 bit graphics is also required for video backgrounds and fades. The problem with video memory usually arises with older video adapters that either have too little memory or don't allocate memory from the main RAM for video use. You can help to avoid the problem by reducing the number of slides per song and also ensuring that the output screen is set at 1024x768. This might arise if you have no second monitor set up when Songview will write to the main screen which could be a higher resolution. So for a 1024x768 output screen the video RAM requirement would be 3072 kB per slide.
